I was watching "Curtain Falls" by Blue & it was followed by Five's "closer to me" & realized a number of singers & bands did goodbye songs. Can you please help me remember them?

Well the Coral had a hit with Goodbye but it was their first top 40 hit. Don't know if you specifically mean goodbye to their careers or just songs called Goodbye.

Apart from, Curtain Falls was originally written for a girl!!! I think that it's weird that so many people think of it as a song about them, other than a song bout love!! N Sync Bye Bye Bye Only kidding.

I guess Someone like me was a brief goodbye song from atomic kitten, but they're returning in January for a chairty single!

Wasn't The Long and Winding Road the Beatles' swan song? Or was it Hey Jude?

The excellent "The Show Must Go On" was kind of a goodbye song from Freddie Mercury and it's release coincided with his untimely death! That was, in all sense, the end of Queen as well.

Or even "These Are The Days Of Our Lives", though Freddie never wrote that song. Poignant lyrics though, about someone looking back over their life, and I think it was the last video / film shoot Freddie ever did, maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong. He looks ghastly ill in that video but I think the whispered "I still love you" part at the end is indeed the goodbye of all goodbyes

What about the entire Made In Heaven album?

What about the entire Made In Heaven album? But that was really a collection of previously unreleased (and half-finished) songs recorded prior to, or around the time of Innuendo. The "Innuendo" album really ended up being Queen's true goodbye!
