After last year's promotional fiasco, which lead to Liberty X cancelling a huge UK tour and left them with falling album sales and poor chart positions, it's no wonder that Liberty X have decided to split after 3 years together. Their 2 albums were recieved with great reviews and they even won a Brit Award in 2003 for "Just A Little". At a press conference on Friday, member Jessica said "It's been an amazing 3 years and we've had some amazing experiences, but I don't think there's much more we want to do as a group. It's time to go our own ways." The group will officially split on May 16th, when their 3rd album which is to be a compilation of old and new material entitled "Final Destination" has been released. The group will play a final gig on May 1st at London's Hammersmith Apollo as a thankyou to their fans and will be recording a video for their final single "Final Destination" in the next few days. Full album details are below.
"Final Destination" 01. Final Destination 02. Thinking It Over 03. Just A Little 04. Jumpin' 05. Doin' It 06. Got To Have Your Love 07. Holding On For You 08. Fresh 09. Being Nobody 10. Everybody Cries 11. All The Signs 12. Wanting Me Tonight 13. Thankyou 14. Now That You're Here 15. No Clouds

That sux! I loved their song "Jumpin'"
"Just A Little" was great also, but the Swedish girlband PLAY did a cover of it and it was much smoother.

I hear this is only a rumour rather than fact.

Someone else is booked in to play a gig that night at hammersmith apollo according their website (the Apollo's that is) and apparently there was no press conference on Friday. If there had been I am sure the press would have written about it

If it's just a rumour then i hoipe it's not true! THey have done some really good stuff and would be a shame to see a "good" pop group split! Dan

I hope they have split because that mines S Club 8 would be the only signed boy / girl pop band.
Please let Polydor see the gap in the market.

This is a false rumour being spread about message boards. No truth to it apparently!
