Any thoughts and/or predictions on this single?? It's the fourth release from the million selling 'Demon Days' album - 'El Manana' is a surprisingly gentle, mellow song that's nothing like anything else that Gorillaz have ever done... whilst 'Kids With Guns' is a dark tune with an amazingly funky bassline. I love both, but then I love the whole album! I do think that the songs lack the commercial appeal of the last few singles though, and as the album's sold so much, low top 20 is probably the best to hope for here. Also, I saw the video premiere of 'El Manana' last night on C4, and its really sad. I don't think that will do it any favours whatsoever!

El Manana is brilliant but Kids With Guns is one of the weakest tracks on the album. I'd say top 15 though

I've not heard Kids with Guns.. but i've heard El Manana and i thought it was poor, very boring and certainly nothing on a par with Dare or Dirty Harry

Kids with Guns is great. Nice double A side release for sure though. Greater appeal.

I caught the video earlier and while it is quite sad and upsetting, it is also brilliant! Poor Noodle

The video makes me genuinely sad - as I've said elsewhere, it's especially bad on second viewing when you really pay attention to the butterflies and added detail at the beginning just to see it all go. I was really quite shocked at the ending, I hope Noodle hasn't gone forever.
