Now, I don't want to stir things up and cause a riot here but have you noticed how GGs songs aren't played on the Radio or TV any more. Yet Michael Jackson was in court twice on the same charges and his songs are still played. What's the difference?

Gary Glitter hasn't been played for several years. There's a sort of "unofficial ban" on his stuff. When Radio 2 do Pick Of The Pops featuring an old chart, they just miss him out and deliberately pick a week when he wasn't number one.Capital Gold do the same with their Bottom To The Top every Sunday lunchtime.Whenever a record is played the songwriter and artist gets a small fee and they don't want him to benefit from this.
