Good old Cliff has joined the battle for this year's Christmas #1 with a song titled "21st Century Christmas". Apparently it is not in a similar vein to his sentimental biggies but more a "Little Town".
What is interesting is that it is a double-A with a duet of his first UK hit Move It with Brian May.
Already I can see a lot of Haveners beginning to feel nauseous but listen to Move It with an open mind. It is a great rock record.

Can't see any chance of No.1 as it'll be the X-Factor winner.

and do we know that the X-Factor winner will be out for Christmas or are you just assuming Chris?

X factor may take the easy option and go for Jan and a gauranteed spell at #1.

Oh I used to love cliff richard when I was young. The fight for number one will bring back memories from my childhood, good luck to him! Not such a fan these days but theres always a soft spot for your first musical love right

I think Cliff mostly gets top 10 when he releases, which is no mean feat after all these years. He still has his lots of fans.

Be great if he got a No.1 in this decade, then he will have No.1s in 6 different decades.

It'd be ace if Cliff could get to #1 the week before xmas just to achieve the record.

It's not like Coldplay were #2 though is it? They were like #10 or something! Nizlopi would have been Christmas #1 if there were no X-Factor. Well, actually, someone else might have dared release something big that week instead, but I'd have preferred "JCB Song"

I think Shayne was deserving of the #1 really, it was his time, but I'd hate to think the X Factor would want to release the singles every Christmas week.

I would love to see Cliff get another #1 - every decade since the 50s would be excellent. Hopefully this song will be better then Millenium Prayer though... And I wish X-factor etc would not release in Christmas week. I wouldn't be quite so bad if the winner's songs were not always total cheesy rubbish
