I'm really annoyed - I ordered their GH on Monday of this week from CDWow as it was a bit cheaper there (just £7.99) - got it today.
But what really annoys me is that it doesn't have my favourite track of theirs (Run for Cover). I did look it up on amazon and noticed that it had that track so just assumed that the cdwow one would be the same. Now I'm looking back at amazon and realise that the version with Run for Cover is a 'Special Edition' - although what's so special about just one song being added.
I can't really get a refund as I don't have a leg to stand on (unless I pay a £1.50 admin fee) but why this confusion - it is annoying that they release different versions of GH.

The Special Edition will be the UK version
CDWow uses foreign imports doesn't it?

Yes it is - just saw this on their site. Well I'll be very careful when using them again. CD WOW! is an international supplier of CDs. Please check the track listing to ensure we stock the version you require

You can return any CD but you have to pay postage (well there's the work post) but you also get a refund minus £1.50 admin fee. Only faulty or damaged ones are refunded in full - although even I'm not evil enough to damage it and return it.

That's crap. Bizarre that they'd leave off "Run For Cover" on the international edition, especially as that's one of their best.

Surely if you pick something else though they won't deduct the £1.50 admin fee, will they?

Just rip all the tracks on the CD onto your computer, then burn a new CD with "Run For Cover" also on it.

Awww thanks for the sympathy ManicK. ;D I'll live - hey I might even download RFC illegally then. Well they have it on www.legalsounds.com at 320 kbps although you have to sign up to that site and pay a certain amount in advance, and I'm not certain exactly how "legal" that site is. Tracks there are just 9c though, as the site is based in Russia.

Do you use it, EarlP. Seems good - dunno if it's safe though being based in Russia.

I must admit that the Sugababes have to be the best pop band of the last five years - every single song is easily a 8 or 9 out of 10. The only exceptions are the cover of 'Shape' (original's better and having Sting's vocals merged with the babes sounds bad) and the unreleased 'Good to be Gone'. Had forgotten how great 'Red Dress', 'In the Middle' and 'Hole in the Head' were.

New Year is one of my favourites. Really poignant. And notably absent.
