Sorry We've been so quiet!!!!
Hello beautiful Rooster Fans,
Really sorry that we've been so quiet recently, but we've been enjoying the first real rest and time off we've had for ages!Hope you all had a great Christmas and New year! Over Christmas we've all had time to think about Rooster, the future and ourselves! Unfortunatly we have all decided that nows the time to go our seperate ways. We've had the most amazing four years and have all loved every single minute of it.We feel privilidged to have some of the most up for it, committed fans who we're as much a part of the atmosphere at our shows as us and our music was!I'm sorry that its taken us so long to let you guys know but, as you can imagine, we didn't make this decision lightly.Hope to see some of you in the future, as we all look onwards and upwards!!
All the Best...........Nick,Luke,Ben,Dave. xxx
Doubt they'll be missed

I thought they were pretty good - their debut album, whilst hardly life-changing, is good pop/rock stuff. At least they were a band who could write and play their own songs, and they might have got a few kids into guitar bands which is great IMO! However, this isn't a great shock... the record label really mucked them about and 'Home' was a lousy choice of comeback single. Does anyone know if their second album ever got released? I didn't think it was, but some people have been claiming it charted at #192 or something.

I liked 1 or 2 songs from Rooster, they were pretty good IMO. "Come get some" springs to mind

Poor Rooster! They were Britain's answer to Maroon 5 AND Bon Jovi in one manageable package!

they were quite good to start with, but then the singles for their second album were that same-old American lite stuff (a la Nickelback etc).
It just sounded like they were trying too hard to be commercial and generic. No wonder everyone lost interest. Loved the way they announced it on Popworld tho lol.
