I've been listening to Travis' The Boy With No Name again this week - I don't think that got the recognition it deserved.
I admit that I have not bought The Coral's album, despite having all the others. The single didn't grab me. Maybe I should try to get hold of some samples to listen to.

Agree with Travis. Good album but poor sales.

not heard either of those but will check them out now... i'd given up on those bands (but used to like them) i'd recromend the new Maps album. Already recomended it to a lot of friends with different tastes and they all liked it.

Agree with both of you but Jack Savoretti's album Between The Minds is very underrated

I would say air traffic's album fractured life is underrated.

There are quite a few bands who rightly got signed to major labels but whose debut albums seemed to have passed by without recognition despite being excellent, Switches, Mumm Ra, Tiny Dancers, GoodBooks, Fields. Art Brut's second album deserved to give them the widespread acclaim here that they enjoy across Europe.

The Revelations - The Revelations One of my favourite albums so far this year. I guess they were not really treading new water with it, but it's a great pop album. It's a shame it only got a download only release in the end. I'm also a bit disappointed Drastic Fantastic by KT Tunstall hasn't done better as well, I prefer it now to Eye To The Telescope.

I'm with the guy who suggested fractured life. and i totally agree with kt tunstall's new one. it is absolutely fantastic. Def worth a listen! Natasha Bedingfield's album, holds a few gems too, although that didn't exctly do sh*tty.

I also think that Mr Hudson & the library's album ' tale of to cities' is very underrated.
