I did this thread ages back on dot and remembering discovering stuff like Within Temptation and Krezip then.
What decent stuff is hitting the charts in continental Europe but not charting here (as the UK market is so insular). You tube links would be appreciated.
Many thanks! ;D

Dover (massive band in Spain, just come back from there and my Spanish friend has given me some of their live gigs he recorded. Recomended by Steve Lamac) www.dover.es/ (latest album is electro-pop, really don't like it, and it was basically a selling-out tatic to sell more records) The Unfinished Sympathy (US-sounding Spanish rock band from Barcelona) unfinished.marcalj.net/Kane (Dutch rock band from Den Haag, think U2 crossed with Matchbox 20, got into this band at Werchter 2005 as they were on before Feeder) www.kane.nl

Putski- "The Polish Pixies"
NEGAWATW- Polish underground rock
COMA- 8 minute songs rock band (also Polish)
Myslovitz- Polish rock band named after their home town, but spelt in a German translation. The most well-known Polish band abroad.

You should try with Reamonn. It's a German band with a singer comming from Ireland. They had couple of good songs in pop/rock style. "Tonight" is from the last year youtube.com/watch?v=XaW8FyL7xZs "Supergirl" a bit older youtube.com/watch?v=ysG1qmP_OqUAre you interested only in music with lyrics in English or other languages are acceptable as well?

You should try with Reamonn. It's a German band with a singer comming from Ireland. They had couple of good songs in pop/rock style. Reamonn are a great band, I don't have any of their CDs though. Later this afternoon, my mate's bringing me a copy of Sarah Connor's latest album from Germany. Looking forward to giving it a listen.

Superbus are very different, interesting. The latest song Butterfly is very catchy, so also a good choice (they usually sing in French although some song's titles are in English).

Loads of European music reaching my chart. Weeping Willows from Sweden had a massive NM #2 hit earlier in the year with "The Burden". DAAN from Belgium got to #6 with "Promis Q" and Andersson & Gibson (Sweden) NM #4 with "Anything But You".
I don't have YouTube links for all these songs but you should find them at 7Digital where you can listen to the 30 second previews.

Reamonn had a hit in Germany with Lucie Silvas.
Also check out Admiral Freebee from Belgium, and Absent Minded also from the same country (both from Flanders region).
