Reasons You should download from 7digital
1. its very easy to buy thing there 2. it counts towards the charts 3. i think when you download (music videos or songs) legaly it sounds better 4. you feel better knowing youve done your bit on helping the song 5. its helping the music industry 6. your helping the artist become bigger and more succsessful

1 - if you say so - not been there 2 - who cares about charts?! 3 - bs - plain and simple. it may soothe your concious, but the sound is no same 4 - feel better? i dunno about that.. i personally feel better when i get more people into a song/group - i don't feel better buying it (for the record i buy more music than most - i have over 2k album and buy 5-10 cd's a month - so don't assume i'm a 'bad' downloader...) 5 - i hate the industry with every fiber of my being. I like to help artists (and again, I do a LOT to help artists I like, the most obsious thing being to promote them on my statoin) 6 - again, just by buying ONE song you are doing very little in fact. you do much more by going to gigs or/and getting other people into them...

my main question are- what's the cost of the site? what labels do they have? how much money gets to the artists?
THAT'S the info that would get me interested in a digital site...

You've not really listed anything that makes it unique to other download stores.

Being from SA, i prefer buying from them (bought 4 songs from them last week).Woolworths.uk (we don't have iTUNES available to us) being the other site i can buy from, compares poorly imo. They have far less stuff available that i'm after. They have my credit card info saved, so i don't have to type in the whole thing every time i buy. Some of their stuff now also comes in brilliant mp3 format (320 kbps) without those stupid rights that the WMA files have.

I must admit I prefer 7Digital too, plus its sister store, indiestore.com often have free downloads available, and sometimes from big groups not just acts who are starting out. Plus, you can upload your own songs, if you are musical minded, for free and for £70 you can get indiestore to register your songs for the charts (£70 being the price the OCC charge to have a digital EP registered on their computer). Indiestore make their money by taking about 20% of the money your song makes, you keep the rest...

There could at least have been 7 reasons, I wouldn't recommend a job in advertising.
