Are we 74th out of 75 by any chance;) How many league clubs have there been then, must be close to 100 now I guess, if not more, nice to know we are out of the relegation zone;) Hopefully this season can pull our wins and attendance up a bit as well;)

Yoevil are bottom, but with only 5 league games to their name to the end of last season, points were always going to be hard to come by. There's a league team called Middlesbrough Ironopolis on that list

So, our first ever game was away to Woolwich Arsenal and in time honoured Newcastle tradition we never won in London, score was 2-2 with a crowd of 6,000. Our historic first game was on September 2, 1893! Our first home game was 4 days later, against Sunderland and we got beat 3-1 in front of a massive 3,000 crowd... Our WORST result was on February 5, 1972 in front of 14,313 supporters at Hereford when they beat us 2-1 in the FA cup Fecking Ronnie Radford!

Arsénal signed Dennis Bergkamp on my 9th birthday... very nice of them ;D IIRC we also got Richard Wright on my 15th birthday. too many mistakes. shame - if he was more consistent, he could have ended up playing for england.
