Yeah, they were unbelievably poo in the 2nd half, even worse after the crappy sending off after makelele took a dive! Goalie should have saved the 3rd and then they might have had a chance, they just did not look interested, twas quiet bizarre, jimmy floyd looked like a pub player!

Yeah overall it was very disappointing, and Makelele will be embarrassed when he sees his delayed tumble on the TV. There were other incidents that were far worse which the referee missed! I'm not sure Chelsea will be able to turn the game around in the 2nd leg.

I'm not sure Chelsea will be able to turn the game around in the 2nd leg. Their form is poor at the mo, so doubt it really, and one goal from Monaco would mean Chelsea needed to score 4! :oIs it played next week? newcastle are on ITV1 on thursday now, not ITV2!

Saw the game! & the result just p*ssed me off no end I've said it on moopy! Parker shud have never been substituted. He was GREAT yesterday & Ranieri is a sh*t manager. I'm afraid chelsea won't be able to win at least 2-0 at stamford Bridge...they happen to do very bad at home & Monaco are VERY lucky indeed. If Chelsea wants to go thru, they have to avoid any away goals.

Well our performance in the second half was largely down to the bizarre tactics of Mr Ranieri. If it ain't broke don't fix it Claudio. This is why some of us Chelsea fans (who seem to be very much in the minority unfortunately) would not be averse to having him sacked in the summer. Three utterly incomprehensible substituions cost us the game last night and a probable place in the European cup final. Ok, we've had a good season, but for the amount of money Abramovich is shelling out I think he is reasonably entitled to have one of Europe's best managing his team and i'm afraid Ranieri, whilst a gentleman and a perfectly good club manager, is not one of the best.

But even one of the best managers with pots of cash behind him, might still not be able to win trophies, that is the cold truth sadly... The fact that Ranieri has been treated like sh*t all season and has got chelsea where he has must count for something...I reckon he could come back and haunt you to be honest at some other european club, although I would like to see him stay in the UK.

Oh I do realise that, but I didn't think Ranieri was the right man for the job three years ago and I certainly don't think he is now. He is a decent manager yes, but he's also tactically naive, something which cost us dear last night and something which I fear will cost us again in the future...

Well any of the big name Italian coaches would do me just FINE, but I doubt they'd want to leave their present jobs. Failing that Hitzfeld might be an option with rumours abounding that he'll be out of a job at Bayern come the Summer. I honestly have NO idea who they'll appoint though. Ooh, I might be able to spare you a fave five vote, although i'm not really in touch with the current music scene i'm afraid. And i'm just FINE, just trying to frantically finish off essays before my return to Uni next week (so expect to see my post rate dropping from next Monday onwards...not that i'm exactly posting astronomically at the moment...) I'm sure i'll still be able to make the odd cameo though
