Shania, who do you think will win, btw? I'd like Chelsea to win, but to be honest it's a very difficult task. Monaco has been very organised so far, players like Morientes or guily are faultless, they won't miss a single occasion to score & that's exactly why chelsea shud avoid an away goal, difficult but feasible.

If Monaco had not got that goal right at the end of the first half, it might have been different? How was the game, did anyone see it? Newcastle tonight then... ;D

The goal at the end of the first half really deflated Chelsea It could have been sooo different!

Ah well, it was a valiant attempt. It might well have been very different had Monaco not scored towards the end of the first half. Though we really should have taken our chances better it must be said...

Anyway, there's every chance that Chelsea will come back bigger and stronger next season, and hopefully they can learn from this and build on the experience. We need to see a British team (other than Man Utd) winning the Champions League!

We shall be back. I'm not too bothered about defeat, it was only to be expected after the first leg. I think Monaco were a very beatable side though so it's rather disappointing in that respect.

Thats true, and a final against Porto would have been winnable!

Indeed. A Porto victory (before we nick their manager) would now be pleasing... We had a pretty favourable draw but I don't buy what others have said about this being our best opportunity to win the competition. If we can beat Arsenal then we can beat any team on their day and our squad's only gonna get stronger...
