I do feel sorry for the Italians, as in the end, no matter how well they'd played they would have been out of the tournament. As it happens they didn't play so well, but still won 2-1. As for the Scandanavian game, great goal from Tomasson. I watched quite a lot of the second half and it seemed to me that Denmark were still going for a third goal when they were winning 2-1, so I doubt this was a fix, in my opinion.

There is NO chance that the Sweden-Denmark game was a fix...i'm sorry but how can you possibly fix a 2-2 draw? A 0-0 or 1-0 mabye, but 2-2? Furthermore, having been 2-1 up what do Denmark get out of conceding a last minute goal? Second place as opposed to first and a match vs the Czech Republic...what an attractive proposition...

Oh and Italy have been very sub-standard this tournament and ultimately they are out because the football they have played has been far too negative. Probably the most disappointing team in the competition imo...

I don't agree it is unfair. Even on the old rules they had an inferior goal-difference to Denmark and Sweden.
Had Italy won 4-1 and been eliminated anyway it would have been unfair, but with 2-1 it was totally fair.

The final score was written on all Swedish & Danish flags. It can't just be PURE chance That was more than likely the score the fans wanted, so that they both get to the quarter-finals. And how can a game be a fix anyway?

The Italians were lucky to defeat us. Just before their second goal Martin Petrov had an excellent chance to score (he was in a similar situation in the Bulgaria-Denmark match)... If he had scored, the final result would have been 2:1 again, but for Bulgaria...

yeah, italy were disappointing... though how a goal-kick was given against them when one of their players (cassano, perhaps?) was brought down right outside the box i will never know i proclaim that the SECOND dodgiest decision so far. the first is obvious
