I can't remember if it's tonight or tomorrow night - Mansfield v Leeds. Are you going to the match? I think your team plays Worksop on Friday! How far is Worksop from Mansfield? I've just booked my ticket for the Newcastle Cup! On July 31 / August 1, a 4 team mini-tournament at St James Park, including Feyenoord, the team managed by our ex-manager, Ruud Guilit! He should get a warm welcome...NOT! The other teams are Sporting Lisbon and Rangers. Not bad, £40 for a two day ticket, four matches in total. The game I'd love to see is a few days later, we travel to Celtic. Being a good Catholic they're my second favourite team. Unfortunately, I haven't got the money to go but Newcastle have already sold 3,000 tickets and by the time the match is played we should have sold our allocation of 10,000 tickets...

Hi Robbie, nice of you to notice and remamber. We were going to go, Sam being a BIG Leeds fan, thought I could take him, but sadly our tight chairman, decided to charge £10 and £5 for kids! Plus mum and dad have only just got back from a 10 day hol, and Sam has swimming on weds nights. So no, decided not to line the chairman's pockets so much this season, unless he reduces prices (£16) or it is a big game. That Newcastle thing sounds good, only way to get to see em isn't it, my mate up there, said he thought he might take in a friendly, he's on hols at the mo though, so not sure he'll make. Let us know what you think? Was shocked to see Speed leave :oAnd sad to see you get Kluivert, but if it's a loan and you're not paying all his vastly overpriced wages, then it is maybe not too bad? How long is Bellamy out for? I'd like to see Beattie at Newcastle. Thoughts for the season?

How long is Bellamy out for? I'd like to see Beattie at Newcastle. Thoughts for the season? Newcastle are paying half Kluivert's wages for the forthcoming season, still an unbelievable amount of £40,000 that we're paying for each week. His ex-club are paying the other £40,000 per week. Obnoxious wages really... I think Bellamy may be on his way out of Newcastle and probably football altogether if he can't pull around from this latest injury, he doesn't look after himself. He has too much of a taste for the beer and nightlife, it was well known that he was getting sold this summer, so his injury has put a stop to that for the time being. I didn't know Speed had left Newcastle until I read your post Where has he gone? I can't see Newcastle doing much this season unless we can sort out our defence, last season we ended up 5th despite having a terrible away form. We were lucky that the teams around us were even more sh*te than we were...

Speed was going to bolton, no mention of a fee, hate to say that Boro look useful as well with viduka and parlour signing. Did anyone notice that the Mighty Mansfield Town beat Leeds 2-0 last night! ;D ;D Match report here... www.stagsnet.net/news/newsdetails.php?newsid=1880
