Not very happy about Boro's group... It would've been a lot worse if we'd been away to Partizan. We're capable of beating anyone at home, and I fancy us to get a result against Villarreal, with them having Sally Gunnell up front. 2 wins should see us through. Would've liked to have been in Group H, though...

I wish Boro all the best and hope their games are on the box!

They should be, hopefully. Five and ITV2 shared coverage of Boro and Newcastle's games in the last round so hopefully they'll do the same again.

We'll have to see what the prices are and how many are left after the season-ticket holders have got theirs. Failing that, we might go for Coventry in the Carling Cup, if the prices are low.

I prefer straight knockout in the cup competitions to group stages... Isn't Grazer AK Sturm Graz's real name? All of the British teams should progress apart from Hearts maybe, I think they'll be 4th ahead of Basle or Ferencvaros...

They're a different team. Grazer AK is the same as GAK. It's like AC and Inter milan, only austrian.

I saw the game on ITV2. Middlesborough played very well. Not the most exciting game, but they played efficiently and just did enough to beat Egaleo.

Yeah, didn't pulll any trees up as a commentator would say, just think that they will struggle against a class side, but hopefully they can raise their game? So yardwater is a Boro fan as well, think that is FOUR now, dandy, misterhamster and hullboy! So 4 Boro fans, 2 chelsea fans, couple of arse fans and the rest of us spread out I think, although I could claim 3 Mansfield Town fans with me, Mel and Richy;)

Yep a Boro fan. I didn't get to see the match myself, but as a Scottish friend pointed out the alarm bells would be ringing if we hadn't won. I agree we'll struggle as the tournament goes on - to a certain extent I'm just thinking about the money ( this season!).

Do you know how much you got for getting to this stage? And is it top 2 thru to the next knockout phase? That must guarantee some more money as well?
