Simon Jones has just dropped Kasper too. 9 to win for Aussies.

Congrats to England and doubly pleasing because it was against the Aussies and so close. 1-1 is a big difference form 2-0 down.
It may be mean but it's better to say it now than in hindsight.
WHAT A BUNCH OF PLONKERS. (Flintoff excepted).
How close they came to throwing this match away. Jones may have had the final action but he has dropped too many vital catches to date.
Vaughan is a tough one but really he will be receiving all the kudos without really having put much into the victory. His batting has been atrocious but obviously they are not going to change the captain half-way through a series. They could otherwise drop him for Thorpe!!!!
We may possibly already have the "BBC Sports Persomality of the Year". Flintoff is bigger than the game - what really impressed me was the way at the moment of victory his first action was to go and genuinely commiserate with the Aussie batsmen.

He's not a great wicket-keeper but his batting's better than Chris Read's. Vaughan's batting has been very poor so far but he's such a great captain, he can't be left out. Believe me, he would be missed if he wasn't in the side. Flintoff is definitely a contender for Sports Personality Of The Year. The only other Britons who have really achieved anything this year are Ellen MacArthur and Dan Wheldon.

Agree with that 100% mate. We can't change the team now. The must important thing we have is morale and belief, and that has been build with these 11 players. The only possible change I could see is Ian Bell dropped for Graham Thorpe! But lets enjoy this, and bring on Thursday! ;D

How about Collingwood in for Bell? Then we have an extra bowling option...

Collingwood has been on form at county level.
I thought Jones the wicketkeeper has been poor at batting so far?
Reed may need to be given a chance?

He has in this series, but he does have a century under his belt for England. Read has never batted well for England. Matt Prior is probably a more likely replacement than Read. He played a ODI for England in Zimbabwe last winter, making 35. Read has hit a century in the County Championship this season, as has Prior, though Prior has averaged 55 in one-day matches with a high of 144.

Jones: 17 tests, average of 28.18, highest score of 100. Read: 11 tests, average of 15.31, highest score of 38 not out.
Jones: 63 catches, 2 stumpings. (possibly not up-to-date) Read: 31 catches, 4 stumpings.
