The 1st of 3 ODIs between Australia and the Rest Of The World was played this morning. Australia won the toss, elected to bat, and finished on 255-8 (Gilchrist 45, Katich 58, Vettori 4-33) before bowling World XI out for 162 (Sangakkara 64, Flintoff 38).
Kevin Pietersen finally managed to hold a catch - dismissing Mike Hussey for 32.
Oh, and why the hell was Watson award MOTM, when he managed 8 runs and 3-43 whereas Vettori managed 15 runs and 4-33?

You'd expect Australia to win really. Had World XI is clearly going to be disjointed.
