Because you're doing SO badly without Dogbreath... Toure staying in Africa too long is more of a worry for us than his absence is for you - you still have Crespo, who is a better striker. actually they are doing badly without drogba last 3 games 01/02/06 A Aston Villa D 1-1 28/01/06 A Everton D 1-1 22/01/06 H Charlton D 1-1 They'd still be paying the referees to let them win if they needed the points...

Ah yes, paying referees. That would provide the explanation for why you're languishing twenty six points behind us I suppose.

Oh my, did anyone else see the clear cut penalty for senegal in the 91st minute, the ref didn't give it, and didn't book the striker for diving or simulating, so what happened then? Egypt need to score early in the game to make Ivory Coast come out and play.

Btw, Mido has been thrown out of the Egyptian team and suspended for 6 months after his highly visible bust-up with the coach during the semi-final against Senegal!

Blimey, that's a bit harsh as well, by all means sort it out, but 6 months! Blimey, star player as well (at times). Should the manager have been the bigger man as well though?

Should the manager have been the bigger man as well though? What do you mean? The manager stood up to him. At the end of the day, it's one of Egypt's most high profile games, the world is watching, and nearly everything is ruined by the behaviour of one player! Remember, we only saw what happened on the pitch, no doubt it continued in the dressing room and beyond. You can't afford to have rogue players upsetting the balance of the team. Football isn't about individuals! When Glyn Hurst did something similar at Notts, he never appeared again and had his contract terminated. Mido got exactly what he deserved.

Blimey that's rough on lua lua.
What I meant regards the manager was, yes bollock him by all means, but then leave it and walk away, he went nose to nose with him when there was no need. The manager should set an example, like I say, tell him why you have taken him off and that it is his job to do so, but the walk away, dont walk over there and carry the argument on, regardless of what has been said. Wonder if Spurs are regretting buying him now? And has he done a public apology yet?

I think it's only a matter of time before it all kicks off at Spurs. Apparently it has at every other club he's played for, so I think once he gets that permanant contract all the fun will start!
