England 246/7 at end of first day. Alastair Cook scored 60 in his first ever test innings. Andrew Flintoff scored 43 and Paul Collingwood is unbeaten on 53.

Nice recovery at the end. If we can get the last wicket quickly and some quick runs tomorrow, we've a good chance of bowling them out on the final-day pitch.

England declared overnight, setting India 368 to win. It seemed to be heading for a draw, but with 200 left to get and 9 wickets remaining, India decided to give it a bash.
They gave England a scare but were also losing wickets and at 260-6, with 11 overs remaining, they took the light and the match ended in a draw.
Matthew Hoggard won the man-of-the-match award.

Say what you like about the current England 11 or 15 or whatever, They must have a hell of a team spirit going on. Missing key players like Trescothick and Vaughan (even Giles to a point) and still managing to give as good as they got. Good to see Collingwood finally emerging as a ky player at this level.
