Adrian Lewis just won a cracker of a match against Wayne Jones. Final score was 4-3.

The handbags are out between Phil Taylor and Chris Mason! Clicky!

I saw Mason's comments in the paper before the match and as much as he denies it, it sounded purely like jealousy and sour grapes.

It was. Taylor gets all the attention of the camera's because he wins the tournament every year, kinda simple really

It was an absolute corker of a match, the best final I've seen in years. For Barney to come back after losing the first 3 sets without even taking a leg shows just what he is made of, and he thoroughly deserves the title! The Lakeside World Championship won't even be able to compete with this one.

Indeed. The BDO looks very weak without Barney. Should still be an entertaining tournament though.

There are still some very decent players in the BDO, just no-one that stands out over and above anybody else.

I suppose if you take Taylor and Barney out of the PDC, there's not a lot between the two organisations but it's still a huge blow losing Barney.
I think Martin Adams is consistently the best player the BDO has now but he seems to lack the nerve to win a major title. He was outclassed by Barney a couple of years ago and bottled it completely against van Gerwen in the World Masters.
