Can't believe nobody's mentioned this - Chelsea coming from behind to win 2-1, John Terry getting injured badly, and this remarkable statistic:
Number of players to have been sent off in a League Cup Final prior to injury time in the 2007 final: 3 Number of players to have been sent off in a League Cup Final: 6
and there were a few more who could potentially have been sent off as well!

How exactly? I thought it was a great, open game. Arsenal's youngsters played really well and were probably a bit unlucky to lose. Still, obviously very pleased with the result. Oh, and thankgod JT's alright after that. It was pretty nasty.

Chelsea's first did look offside, the melee was terrible, surprised Lampard stayed on the pitch to be honest.

What happened at the end was laughable however disgraceful it was. The Terry incident looked quite sickening, so its amazing he was ok just an hour after the match.
Didnt' see the first 25 mins but however well Arsenal played I just didnt think they would score. I did think it would go to extra-time but through Chelsea's defensive organisation and with Drogba (the master of the tight matches it would seem) they always looked more likely to win, especially when Robben came on.

It was a great game marred by something needless. I think overall Chelsea deserved to win. Drogba's goal really wasn't offside, and if it was it was by the tiniest bit! Arsenal probably should've had more sent off. Fabregas was lucky to stay on and Eboue should've been sent off twice. It's a good job Almunia was in goal though otherwise it would definitely have been more! Mikel also didn't really do much wrong and stood still with his hands up for the most of it. It was harsh for him to go, though Lampard should've gone...

So now we're gonna have 2-3 first teamers suspended for something the cheats started. And they get off scot free - of course. They don't deserve anything they've got since Jose C. Mourinho came.

What on earth are you on about? Were you even watching the same game?! Or does your own bias just not know any bounds? Drogba's goal was touch and go. The linesman gave the attacker the benefit of the doubt, as they are supposed to do. And how on earth did Lampard and Essien instigate the brawl? It was Toure's ridiculous overreaction to a bit of shirt tugging that started it all off. Arsenal were certainly more culpable than Chelsea for the whole incident. You can count yourselves lucky that the worst offender, Eboue, wasn't punished. You really need to remove those red tinted spectacles and lose this whole anti-Chelsea vendetta of yours.

Despite the fracus at the end, I think Arsenal's youngsters were a joy to watch, especially in the opening 25 mins and I think there's plenty to be optimistic about for the future for the club.

To be fair, Lampard went off his nut, I've only seen it once, but he looked the most likely to get a red card, I'd like to see it all again, is it on youtube yet? I do wish linesman would give striker's the benefit of the doubt, but they need to be consistent with it, then we can get used to it.

Calm it Frag, Mark supports Forest, how can he be bias? lol I dislike both teams. It's like Boyzone vs Westlife for me. I wouldn't defend either. But Arsenal were the worse team in the brawl...

Looking at it I'd say Lampard, Toure, Eboue and Adebayor should've all been sent off.
And Bridge should've got a yellow for that AWFUL play-acting!
