Other records to have been broken in the South Africa v Netherlands game:
Most sixes in a one-day innings (18) Most runs in one over (36) Fastest World Cup half-century (22 balls)
South Africa finished on 353/3 - made even more impressive by the fact that they only had 40 overs available (due to early rain). If they had had 50 overs, they would most probably have beaten the record for highest one-day score ever.

no real surprise about new zealand winning, they have a better one day team, still disapointed.
is it just me or is flintoff so over rated, he has done nothing for 2 year, just keeps going out with under 20 runs to his name, quite a few ducks too

Andrew Flintoff has been dropped from the side to face Canada after an incident with a pedalo the other night. Oh you couldn't make it up! I heard some of them were out on the razz after losing to NZ, not on really! I can see Kenya beating us and putting us out if we are not careful!

If Ireland can beat Pakistan, Kenya are more than capable of beating us...

Canada have won the toss and put England in to bat. They're either confident of bowling us out or they want the game to last a while.
England team: Joyce Vaughan Bell Pietersen Collingwood Bopara Dalrymple Nixon Plunkett Anderson Panesar
England 27-0 in the 5th over.

47-0 off 7.1 going well so far 6/7 an over, could make 300+.

The bottom just fell out as Joyce and Pietersen go and leave us on 161-4! Ifg we dont make 250+, we could be in trouble, depending on their batting and our bowling!

Good finish for England 279-6, should be more than enough to meet the Canadians.
Elsewhere, Bob Woolmer, the Pakistani coach has been found unconscious in his hotel room - hope he's ok.
Watched the Bangladesh/India game yesterday, the really impressed me, took the game to India and really deserved their victory.
South Africa - well done so far, but can't give them too much credit for scoring so many against a Holland team who don't even deserve to be in the World Cup on current form.
