Think we'll have been booted out our room by then, so I will miss it, hopefully Sam will watch it with my dad.

Other group games:
Group C Norway 7-2 Ghana Australia 2-2 Canada
Group D China PR 2-0 New Zealand Brazil 1-0 Denmark
Quarter finals: Norway v China PR Brazil v Australia
Germany and Brazil are the only teams not to have conceded a goal so far, and New Zealand are the only team not to have scored one.

I guess they were just too strong for us, I missed the game, may tape the highlights though, what was this about an elbow in the face of one of our players?

The Americans came out after half-time with all guns blazing. It was all over before England realised what had hit them. Bearing in mind that the Americans are full-time professionals and the English aren't, the result wasn't a great surprise. Even getting to the quarter-finals was a tremendous achievement which I hope will be a boost to the women's game here.

USA 0-4 Brazil (USA played the second half with 10 players) Third-place play-off: Norway v USA Final: Germany v Brazil Even so, it was 2-0 at half-time so that's a pretty big shock.

Brail played amazing today. Saw about half an hour of the second half. Also saw the sending off. Wasn't one but you can see why it was given. Completely unsporting by the Brazilian though...

The USA should have had a player sent off against England. I haven't seen any of the semi-final but perhaps it's just another example of these things evening themselves out over time.

Brazil were breaking, they tried to pass to the woman on the left but she tripped over the covering defender, it wasn't a foul but possibly looked like one at the time from on the pitch. Then the Brazilian who'd gone down indicated to the ref it's her second booking and then celebrated when she got the red...

I dont like to see that, and thankfully it has been minimum in the women's game, shame the same cant be said for the men's game. Germans the faves, but let's hope brazil shake it up or make a game of it, real shock to see the USA tanked, look forward to the highlights later.

I hope that someone will have a word with the brazilians about diving and rolling around and telling the ref to book players, because apart from that, they are a good side to watch.
