Booked in to do Anfield on Easter Monday for the Hillsborough Memorial/Celebration Charity Game, seemed to be the only way to get in to see the stadium. Also pencilled in Reading for the Big Match on 30th May, only a charity game, but sometimes that is the way to go. Shame the women's fa cup final is at MK Dons this year as we did that earlier in the season. Now that the season is over I can say that you will have been to the Mad Stad more than I have in 2014. Bet you never thought I would say that! If you have any queries let me know, but you shouldn't have any problem parking in the stadium car park.

No new grounds added in 2013/14 for me, for matches watched, so I remain stuck on 64. But I did visit Queen of the South and Annan Athletic's homes one Sunday when I was driving home from Scotland.
I've got tickets for the Commonwealth Games athletics at Hampden Park in July, but unless I visit the stadium to watch a football match (not a pop concert, or a stadium tour) it doesn't count on my list.

I compiled a list of current Football League and Conference grounds I've not seen matches at. There are 66 in total.
Only two Premier Division grounds - Burnley and Swansea - so I'll look out for Southampton's matches there when the fixture list is published.
The closest to my home is Vale Park, so I'll definitely watch a match there next year. There are 19 other grounds within 100 miles of where I live, so plenty of other opportunities for ticking off a few more.

Vale Park is awful, we went there this season, couldn't find anywhere to park, and my dad cant walk far, had to Q for tickets for 40 minutes, missed the start of the game, which was okay, but it's one of those grounds with a big stand, but all the facilities were round the side, toilets, snack bars, etc, and loads of p*ssed supporters. We are doing Reading on saturday, a charity game, and Arsenal in August for the Emirates Cup, a ground my dad has always wanted to do, and I'm not sure how much longer he'll be able to travel long distances, plus it's always hard to get tickets on a weekend for an Arse game! Not sure what that will take me up to, in the 50s I think as I didn't lose any this season and will gain Cambridge when the new season starts. Not sure what the nearest is to me, but I'm staying away from some grounds as there is talk of them moving, and I dont want to have to do some teams twice

I think the Emirates is the best stadium in the country. I've been to several matches there, and find it comfortable, easy to get into and out of, and blessed with excellent facilities. My second favourite is the Stadium of Light, and third is the new Wembley.

Wembley
City of Manchester Stadium (Man City) Emirates Stadium (Arsenal) Old Trafford (Man Utd) Carrow Road (Norwich) Upton Park (West Ham)
City Ground (Forest) Pride Park (Derby) Hillsborough (Sheffield Wednesday) Bloomfield Road (Blackpool) New Den (Millwall) Keepmoat Stadium (Doncaster)
London Road (Peterborough) Meadow Lane (Notts County) Bramall Lane (Sheffield United) Vale Park (Port Vale)
Crown Ground (Accrington Stanley)
Edgeley Park (Stockport County)
Hoping to get up to 20 FL grounds next season, will definitely go to Rotherham, and hopefully at least two of the three London Championship grounds I've not been to.

Just compiled a list of grounds I haven't done while in the pub. I have done 57, these are the ones to do, some I won't do til the clubs decide if they are moving to a new ground or not.
Chelsea Spurs Swansea West ham Villa Cardiff
Qpr Ipswich Bmouth Watford Charlton Mill wall Bpool Yeovil
Brentford L orient Pboro Swindon B city Crawley Colchester Gillingham Crewe Tranmere Carlisle Stevenage
Southend Dag and red Plymouth Portsmouth Newport Cheltenham Wimbledon Wycombe Luton
I shall probably try and do Villa, pboro, Crewe and Tranmere next season. Would love to get down to Swansea and Cardiff as well at the same time.

Predictive text is a bummer, Gillingham Reading was great, even if there were only 5000 in the stadium and it was a charity match, lovely ground and fab hotel attached to it which we stayed in! Arsenal may be next in August unless we spot a localish friendly which we can get to.

The person installing the goals seems to have got a bit confused. Was it Jonathan Pearce with a kit from Ikea?

Brammall Lane, Sheffield became my 65th ground last night, and Sheffield United my 92nd British team. But that doesn't mean I've seen every football league team, as the total of 92 includes a handful of Scottish and about 20 English that are currently non-League or defunct. Based on today's league position, the highest ranked clubs I've never seen are Burnley, Cardiff, MK Dons and Rochdale.
The 3 League grounds that are nearest to home that I've not yet been to:- Port Vale, Rotherham and Birmingham City. I'd been to Millmoor, Rotherham's old ground.

What did you make of Brammall Lane Shireb, quite old and full of character and one of those grounds squeezed into terraced streets. Rotherham's new ground is excellent, not great for parking though. I enjoyed Birmingham as well, that was on my 40th, we sat in the old stand with the cameramen above us looking out on the new parts of the ground.

I really liked Brammall Lane. Modern stands, great atmosphere (no doubt helped by knocking a Premier Division club out of the cup), good facilities. Street parking seemed OK, and the ground had breathing space around it, despite being just a few strides out of the city centre.
Now I come to think about it, I cannot name a better stadium in League One. Certainly not amongst those I've been to. Which reinforces the fact that Sheffield United really should be one division higher. And if they continue playing like they did last night, they surely will be next year.

I've been struggling this season for a variety of reasons so have only managed 3 new ones. Going to try and get to a few over Christmas.
Still hoping to complete the Northern League before the end of the season as I only have 5 of the current 44 to go.

Grounds Visited Highbury (18 times 1994-2005) Emirates Stadium (35 times, 2007-2014)
Highfield Road (old Coventry ground) Kassam Stadium Kit Kat Crescent Ashton Gate St. James' Park (Newcastle) New Wembley (gigs and England match) Nou Camp (tour) San Siro Stadion Miejski (Poznań) Loftus Road
Seen: The Den Stamford Bridge Stade De France St. Andrew's Ferencvaros' ground Stadion Narodowy (Warsaw) Stadion Miejski (Wrocław)
Updated - I went to QPR v Burnley a few weeks ago, including a very good goal by Austin, who got sent off a minute or two later. Just after I put him in my fantasy team (so I'm happy tonight!). I've also seen The Den reasonably close up, but haven't seen Brentford's ground yet despite living less than two miles from it.
