Huddersfield Town 2008 In the FA Cup v Port Vale, lost 3-4 after being 3-1 up! Hartlepool United 2008 Drew 0-0 with Yeovil, not a bad game, but the hassle to get a ticket, laughable really. Sunderland 2009 Beat Bolton 2-1 in the 3rd round of the FA Cup. Stoke City 2009 Beat Middlesbrough 1-0 in the Premier League in front of 26442 fans! The home fans were the noisiest I have ever heard, amazing! Portimonense 2009 Portimao's footy team playing Gil Vicente in the Portuguese 2nd div. Portimonense won 3-0, it was a good game in the sun! FC Halifax 2009 Now in the Unibond div.1 north, but still a good ground. v Curzton Ashton, lost 1-2, crowd of over 1300 though!

Just noticed this thread. I'm now up to 53 in the UK, including non-league and those which no longer exist. Plus another 4 abroad. I only count stadia where I have watched a proper league or cup match, so friendlies, training sessions, other sports, etc. do not count. The relatively large number is indicative of the fact that I have lived in several different parts of the UK.
My personal favourite ground is Arsenal's Emirates, which replaced Sunderland's Stadium Of Light at the top of my list. (I haven't been to the new Wembley yet, though). My least favourite would be Derby's old Baseball Ground, and of current grounds is Fratton Park, Portsmouth.
Most recent addition to the list - the Britannia Stadium in Stoke, where I was allowed to park in the director's car park by a very nice steward who took pity on the fact that I arrived 5 minutes after kick-off (and gratefully accepted the £5 I waved at him).

Some of those I've seen I've got on my myspace here. Last non-St Andrews ground I visited (and saw a match at) was the Workers Stadium in Beijing, I saw the Asia Trophy there in July whilst studying there.

5 more to add, plus I might be doing Bradford Park Avenue and Tadcaster Albion in the next 2 weeks as well Retford United 2009 Home of the Badgers where I grew up, although I watched Retford Town as a kid and played for their junior teams! Played Lincoln United and won 3-1 in front of 354 people, almost promoted to the Unibond Premier! Blackburn Rovers 2009 Premiership game v Portsmouth, won 2-0, threw it down with rain in the 1st half and we get absolutely soaked! Pool AFC 2009 Saw Knaresborough Town take the West Yorkshire County League title in a nervy 2-1 victory, the 1st time they have ever won this league! Salisbury 2009 Stags beat them narrowly 1-0, small ground, friendly fans, rubbish facilities, sunny day! Newcastle United 2009 vs Plymouth, won 3-1 and I've never sat so high up in my life, amazing ground, great atmosphere and what a view!

Now I liked Huddersfield's ground, good cup atmosphere as well, and they lost 3-4, so an amazing game, not been to Stockport, what's it like shireblogger?
