And they delivered.
They were dire first half but Bradbury did the job at half time and they came out all guns blazing.
My mate at uni is a cherries supporter so go now and again to matches.
The ref was very biased to the home team. (This is from a neutral).

Alfreton Town's Impact Arena became my 58th English stadium yesterday. Of these, 13 no longer exist, 5 belong to clubs not currently in the Football League, and 1 is Wembley.
Alfreton Town became the 83rd English club I've paid to watch, 17 of which do not currently have Football League status, and 2 of which no longer exist (Maidstone United & Wimbledon).

Added Doncaster Rovers' Keepmoat Stadium to my list yesterday.
I know it was cold, wind- and rainswept, but what a soulless place. One of my least favourite football grounds.

I really liked Doncaster's ground, very impressive. I'm looking to go watch Liverpool in the FA Cup, might be easier to get tickets for that than a league game...and cheaper...

I think it's just a trend of many modern stadia. Similar blueprints, they just change the colour of the seats and alter the roof slightly.

My current "hit list" for grounds:
Darlington Railway Athletic - now the nearest Northern League ground I'm yet to visit, just over 20 miles away.
West Auckland Town - two-time World Cup winners - will be visiting with Marske in January.
Bishop Auckland - another historic club and also the town where I was born. One of the newer grounds in the league, Marske visit there in March.
Esh Winning - deep in the heart of County Durham. One of the more picturesque grounds in the league.
Wolviston - one of four Wearside League (step 7) teams nearby but possibly the only one with something resembling a proper ground.
Chester-le-Street Town - nice part of the world with Beamish and the Riverside cricket ground nearby.
Horden Colliery Welfare - one of the nearest Northern League grounds I'm yet to visit - only about 40 minutes drive.
Harrogate Town - have driven past it before and it looks a nice ground.
Harrogate Railway Athletic - Marske would've gone there in the FA Cup last season but Railway lost their preliminary round tie. There have been rumours they could end up in the Northern League if they're relegated from the EvoStik but I can't see it...
Gillford Park - Carlisle-based club. Marske United sealed promotion with a win there last season.

There have been rumours they could end up in the Northern League if they're relegated from the EvoStik but I can't see it... I've done both as they're just down the road from me. There are always talks to merge the two teams and build a new ground on the edge of town somewhere, but it never happens. Both teams are kinda punching above their weight. Railway now get crowds below 100, and Harrogate get around 400 I think, and neither can be sustained on crowds of that amount. Railways ground has a big stand behind one goal, where most of the fans congregate, and it gives you a great view when the action is down that end. There is also a tiny stand on one side of the ground, and some very shallow terracing. There is talk that they are swapping their ground for the training ground and a home is being built on the ground. I've not been down that way recently to know if it is happening. Town's ground has nothing behind one goal, a small low terrace down one side, and funny little stands down the other, where they used to charge you another £1 to sit in. We saw england ladies play france there a few years ago. Enjoy when you get there. Railway play in Starbeck, which is dead rough, Town's ground is in a lot nicer area, so you'll be ok leaving your car there

Harrogate Town play in Blue Sq North don't they? That would be the same level as Maidenhead and i consider 400 for them to be pretty good. Haven't noticed Maidenhead's attendances too often this season, but their average was 327 last season up 5% compared to the previous season, which is higher than I expected.

Yep, blue square north, but the chairman has said they need 800 to break even I think? In the Conference you need more than 1000, so BSN and BSS really need 750+. Has anyone been to AFC Wimbeldon's ground at Kingsmeadow? I'm looking at the possibility of going there in February, but they seem to make it quite difficult to actually get tickets. Looks like we'll have to stand, but we still have to wait and see when they make the tickets available online for the Morecambe game.

Maybe you could go to one of their games.

Looks like plenty of clubs in BSS could be struggling then as i don't think many average that much! Personally i consider the norm to be 250-300, but i'm really thinking of Maidenhead there and thats prob too low. But at most 500 seems a reasonable figure to aim for. Although saying that i was shocked by some of the midweek attendances i saw one night earlier in the season either for Maidenhead or for the Kent clubs, which were lower than 250, below 200 IIRC.

Average at that level is probably about 600. Maidenhead's crowds are probably among the lowest in Conf N/S which suggests they're punching above their weight being that high up the pyramid. Just goes to show the potential of those clubs getting 500+ at step 5 if they ever decide to move up and can balance the books.
