...I'm not kidding. I've seen The Howling LOADS of times and I just watched it again after a gap of a couple of years and it was FANTASTIC !!! Much better than I thought it was, although the 'I want to give you a piece of my mind.' bit I thought was in 'An American Werewolf in London'.
I especially liked the werewolf transformation of Eddie Quist. Much better than the computer animated ones they would do t'day. I loved the snout being pushed out and the teeth and gums glistening and the nails sprouting, very exciting ;D
I also thought what a lovely werewolf Dee Wallace (Stone) made right at the end. She looked like a cuddly Were Bear.

i hardly ever end up watching films more than a few times, otherwise i just lose interest in them because i already know what will happen next... sometimes i leave it ages in the hope that i might have forgotten, but it always comes back to me

I just can't watch films that many times.
I found "The Sixth Sense" and "Donne Darko" to get better second time around though.

I found "The Sixth Sense" and "Donne Darko" to get better second time around though. really? i've always seen "the sixth sense" as one of those films you'll never enjoy as much the second time around, because you lose the shock impact of the ending...
