ITV 1 is showing a 90 minute long programme on Abba on Tuesday 21 December.
They're using a novel idea called "Hit Song Science" to scientifically rate the group's Top 20 hits against today's rival acts - and each other to produce a chart listing and determine if they would have made it in today's climate.
Whacky but interesting and I'm a sucker for anything on Abba anyway.

Saw this, sounded confusing but maybe worth a watch, how do they match sales from the 70s to today, or is it just based on the songs? How can you compare a song from the 70s and saw it would have charted at #1 or #10? Sounds a bit weird, but I do think abba songs would have sold whatever the decade

I recorded it to watch. It was just an excuse to rehash their music but it was enjoyable for all that. They didn't even explain how this "machine" worked but reckoned 4 of their songs would be among the top 10 best sellers for 2005.
It was good to see that some of the lesser known ones wrer predicted top be big hits. I always loved I Do, I Do etc.
