Doubt it will be anyone special unfortunately, no one that they wouldnt show normally. Hope I'm wrong tho

The format is yet to be decided - they don't know if it will be pre-recorded or live - but it is likely to be an hour long
There will also be a documentary film about the history of TOTP shown on the same night

Documentary will be interesting - I'll be watching I wonder if they will discuss how they killed it in ways such as shifting it around to clash with major soaps etc.

I propose ending with a shot of Andi Peters in the stocks, whilst the artists and fans there for the final show pelt him with rotten vegetables. In fact, it'd be nice if a few of the BBC schedulers got the same treatment as well!
