is on tonight at 10pm on Channel 4.
Anyone going to watch it - it's very gory be warned (and I mean very, can't believe that children were allowed to see it in the States).
It's a fairly moving film but really only focuses on Jesus' death and nothing else about the man. As for the anti semetic allegations, I didn't notice it when I watched the film although it is rather unfortunate for Mel Gibson that he was caught mouthing off against the Jews when arrested for drunk driving last year.
Worth watching but don't expect any laughs.

Heard so much about it but never seen it so may tape it as we want to watch the Joanne Lees Australian drama on ITV.

Salima is watching it downstairs, and to be honest even from upstairs it sounds rather horrific! Don't think i'd enjoy it, too much suffering! And it's not really fiction either, so can't dismiss it as easily.

I did consider giving it a go but as a total heathen wasn't sure how much appeal it would really hold for me. Does that sound silly? I don't know. The prospect of watching a Mel Gibson project didn't exactly enthuse me either. I try to avoid the man wherever possible.
