anyone here watch Prison Break (TV SHOW)?
I'm so addicted to it! I've only discovered how good it truly is about 2 weeks ago! I've missed SO many episodes, therefore I'm buying the DVD -SEASON 1 whenever it comes out (next week I think).
It's not as good as LOST, i have to admitt it, but its certainly faster-paced and more actionny!
Cant wait for tomorrows episode! (season finale, i think)
Anyone else here is totally hooked on PRISON BREAK??

I LOVE it!
I think it's my favourite prison show since Cell Block H!
Although, I'm sure the fact that I would beg, borrow and steal to be sandwiched between those two hot brothers has something to do with show's appeal for me. ;D

Cell Block H... that was a late night must!
Not got into Prison Break. I like my drama a bit fluffier like Desperate Housewives.

I don't see the appeal: too much of it is unfeasable and its really just a poor man's OZ.

I love Prison Break because it's lightweight trash, completely unfeasible and because of this fact: I love Lost because it's lightweight trash, completely unfeasible and because of this fact: I despise Desperate Housewives. It's pretentious, poorly acted and homophobic .

Homophobic? Explain you must. The ongoing storyline about Bree's gay son really disturbs me. This is a series where Bree is portrayed as one of the "heroines" - all the while basically refusing to accept his lifestyle to any extent. I gave the show the benefit of the doubt that it was just showing a horrible parent - until the point where Bree abandons him at a petrol station in the middle of nowhere and says she doesn't want anything to do with him anymore. This was all done casting Bree as the victim - complete with warm fuzzy music. WTF? This woman should be beaten over the head and dragged through town.

I love Prison Break even though the dialogue is as SO ropey and they they need to let their clothes fall off a bit more for my liking. It's good, but 'Oz' was a million times better.
I love Desp Housewives too.I do think that they should have developed Andrews boyfriend a bit more ('Justin' i think- the guy who lives with John the gardener). As it is ,the main gay character (Brees son) can be quite nasty. His boyfriend might be nice but so far is little more than a glorified extra and I'd like them to show more of him (and maybe some gay friends) to even the balance. I'll admit it bugged me when Bree was so uptight about the son being gay but I think she was getting past it - from what I remember, she didn't throw him out when she found him in bed with his boyf. She only threw him out after he slept with her (sex addict) alcoholic sponser/love interest . I've never viewed her as the victim though. To me ,she's always been the unhinged one.
lol Maybe that will be Andrews plan when he returns ?
'Lost' - all those people and none of them gay ? What's that all about ?

Watch The Celluloid Closet for full understanding of the use of gay characters in Hollywood.

I missed one episode tonight, and most of the second... This calls for a gratuitous picture!

I missed one episode tonight, and most of the second... This calls for a gratuitous picture! Total hotness! Prison Break is even better eye candy than OZ - with the exception of the sex god himself, Mr Meloni! I really hate the way DH has presents the gay characters, it annoys me even more when the creator talks about sharing Bree's republican ideals on his audio commentary. I want Bree to be decapitated by helicopter. She's vile. If I were her son I would have stabbed her in her sleep. The show is so formulaic it's ridiculous. Here's my recipe for an episode of DH: 1. Gabrielle overcomes some drama in an outrageous/sassy manner - ie nude yoga, hitting a nun etc 2. Susan makes a fool of herself and wears a singlet. Her chinless daughter helps her out. She cries and knocks something over (this woman is either the clumbsiest bitch on earth or has MS). 3. Lynette shows up her husband in some regard. She will look frazzled by some petty drama but then get sassy and show how women can have it all. Think Lynette dancing on the bar table, kissing Gabrielle's husband etc. 4. Bitch from hell Bree will do something anal. She'll be shocked and appalled by her son's sexuality or the fact that her daughter is dating. She will find a way to humiliate her children - to the applause of her right wing conservative fan base. This formula applies to every show in both seasons. I have unfortunately had to watch them all for work.
