Has anyone else seen any of the cartoons from the now famous Japanese filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki? He has won Oscars and other countless awards for his imaginative, detailed and indepth storylines. Watching the animated films it is so easy to become absorbed into the fantasy worlds full of likeable people, bizarre and cute creatures and amazing environments.
Films included Spirited Away, My Neighbour Totoro, Hals Moving Castle, Laputa - Castle In the Sky, Grave of the Fireflies and Princess Monokee.
For anyone who enjoyed such epic series as The Amazing Cities of Gold back in the 1980s these are really a must, and definitely enjoyable for both kids and adults. Way way better than anything that has come out of Disney or Dreamworks!!!

It looks good, but it's not coming to my local art house cinemas, so might have to wait for the DVD.
