As promised, the new chart now - the next one should be posted around Monday and then again next Thursday at which point I will be back to the normal posting dates again.
Two bubblers this week - I've displayed the list according to how high they actualy came out in compilation, thus I've actually produced the exact top 62.
Two clear potential singles for #1 next week - Easyworld climb from 16 to 2 and Snow Patrol make their chart debut at #7. I was sure they must have had hits in my chart before but my check showed me that they hadn't. By the way, although I can't see most of my charts, by looking at my "top 2211 chart of the dotmusic era" which is still posted at live-daily, I can see at least whether or not something charted at all (if I did it would be on the list). Snow Patrol didn't show up on that search (unlike the Lostprophets, who did).
Joss Stone makes the rare achievement of charting with a cover when the original flopped. Usually it's the other way round.
Next week's list doesn't show any potential #1s - "Plastic Lions" by Eberg is quite interesting though, and "Maybe Someday" by the Ordinary Boys (a title of a Morrissey song, by the way. There have been many who have named themselves after Smiths songs but not many solo Morrissey ones).
