Here it is, the top 60 - yes it's posted one week late, and while I hope to get the next one out on Sunday or Monday, I will then slip behind again when I go away.
Still, I will catch up eventually because I always do.
Morrissey was the closest we have had for a while to a new entry at #1, but didn't quite make it (unlike in 1994 when he did). Still, he will probably be #1 next week. Bell X1 has been proving just too strong the last few weeks and has even prevented Belle & Sebastian from getting what would have been their 4th consecutive #1.
Following on from my comment on the previous chart about Pink Grease and Campag Velocet, last week Radio 4 added themselves to the UK's "Least Successful Chart Acts" by entering at UK #75. They've reached the NM chart with "Dance To The Underground" but the latest single is only among the bubblers. Campag Velocet are also among the bubblers this week.
