Slow-moving chart this week. 10 new entries, but none of them that high. Kane (hey, my co-mod) gets the highest new entry - well this Kane is actually a Dutch band.
Natasha Bedingfield succeeds where she failed with "Single" and gets in the chart. Amy Winehouse charts for the second time this year, having charted with "Take The Box" in January. But that single was weak and only charted because there was little else out. Her latest single is actually called "Pumps" but is "F*** Me Pumps" on the album, and at present only that song is played on Radio Earl Purple, as now I don't play both sides until the single reaches the top 40. "Help Yourself" in any case is not particularly strong and I may drop the credit for it.
