A few NM #1s in that list. I'll make sure Hot Chocolate get some points next year. Can't believe Band Aid II got any votes and Jive Bunny's Let's Party (A bit surprise any of the Jive Bunny songs got votes).

other great songs: Happy Talk - how come nobody voted for that? Of the Elvis ones - I need your love tonight is brilliant - I might vote for that song next time. I was close to giving Chicory Tip points too.

Hiya Andy,
thanks for this update, I agree with Earl Purple, the number of The King's songs in the list are a surprise.
Its like a vulcan mindmelt trying to compile these lists, as tracks, artists and numbers get blurred. Well done for putting it together. However, there are 4 songs i would like to take off that list as they were in my chart.....
10cc - Dreadlock Holiday was no. 94 in my chart Althia & Donna - Up Town Top Ranking was no.97 Beatles - The Ballad Of John & Yoko was no.7 Georgie Fame & The Blue Flames - Yeh Yeh was no.93

Right, I've located the problem(s). Dory was in coilumn ar2 and that was not in the formula, so that has been added, and ghostwriter and boogieland I simply missed off, and have added in. Obviously that will change a lot, so I need to add the data for the 2 missing charts, recalculate and then re number Sorry about that, it's a massive job, I have double checked everything else, and all the other charts are added and in there, and I'll double check the formula as well. I'll take a day off and get it sorted.

To be fair to Andy... it's not an enviable task having to add all the rates together. (but leave all the Elvis ones on zero! )

What's going on here? I'm confused. How does anyone know what songs got 0?
Is there a list posted somewhere else?
Is it possible when the list is being done to give last year's position?

Thanks andy for doing this, I appreciate it's a massive task.
Can you let us know while we're waiting what UK #1 is number 101 and just missed out on Haven's Top 100? ;D

Thanks for all the work you are putting into this Andy I know it must be a daunting task. I tried to work out last years positions for mine too to see how I had changed, but it's not simple to do.

No worries, just sorry to cock it up. rubcale, I made a few errors, which were pointed out, just correcting them, but it's a busy weekend. I may lock this thread when I have it sorted and start again Save any more confusion. Just about added ghostwriter's, hope to do boogieland's soon, out for fireworks tonight though. As to how I do them, I thought listing all the ones on 0 first for you to comment on, then maybe all the ones on 1-100 points? And keep going in chunks like that?

A lot of posters have said how difficult it was just making a top 100 chart from over a thousand songs, so adding all the points together from around 50 top 100 charts while also taking into account all the thousands of number ones that were available to choose from must be a gargantuan task.
Looking forward to all the results though Andy. Thanks for doing this for us.
