INfernal and their depeche mode sample for me in a weak week Mutya 2nd. Thanks for posting Andy Not posted properly on here for ages!!! Which Depeche Mode song do Infernal sample? I recognise the music, but can't think which song it is. Surprised you like it - didn't think it'd be your thing. What about The Arcade Fire? I'd have thought you'd like 'Intervention' as your chart is usually more rock based.

The latest 2 Arcade Fire songs have done nothing for me and I've not charted them, funnily enough mel has, who is usually not an indie fan I like a bit of dance, oh yes, catchy, bassy is my type of stuff, see Meck in my chart As for the Mode song, I forget which it is again

However, after hearing 'Intervention', I like this much more. Oh yes, can't beat a bit of dance!!! Meck though? Is that 'Feels Like Home'? I think that's a really average dance song with extremely poor vocals. Even the Felix sample can't save that song, imo.

Anyways, I'll try and get back on here throughout the week. Gonna go for a bit and compile the new ChC Multichart.

Well, I'm here now. I must track down 'World In My Eyes' - strange how I recognise the music, yet the song got to no. 17 in the UK charts. 'Violator'?!!! I'm guessing this the album home to the hits 'Personal Jesus' and 'Enjoy The Silence'? I was only 9 at the time, and I was more into compilation albums (eg; Now! 17) than I was with artist albums.

Thanks for posting Mikey Yeah, we're having problems with Brinkster, so Chart Clarity is down at the moment (yet it was working about 23:00pm last night!!! ). Still, ChC Media is running fine, but obviously that's run on a different server altogether. Real Girl - love it, using the sample works quite wellI have to admit, on first listen I wasn't so sure abou the song but it's one of those that after a few listens goes from "ok" to "brilliant". it's ok-ish, prefer their previous singleI agree. 'Boogie 2Nite' was excellent, especially the Seamus Hadji remix, and it spent two weeks at no. 1 for me. This is still a fine follow up - again, thanks to the production skills of Hadji. I love this track, best track they have done for a long whileDid this not get to no. 1 in your chart. I think its the Manics best song since 'A Design For Life' which - had I done a personal chart in 1996 - would've been no. 1 for ages for me. Loved that song, and I love this too. Nina Persson only adds to its greatness. Never heard offIt's very...Cascada. Well, they've remixed it, so it sounds like everything Cascada have released. However, I think this song has such a annoyingly catchy chorus. I doubt it'll do that well in the UK, but I do like this a lot despite the fact it's a slice of edam!!! I like this better than their previous 2 singles, hopefully it do better in the chart next weekI agree completely. 'LOATW' did get to no. 10 for me - probably a bit too high as I look back, and it wasn't that great a song. 'SMM' got to no. 12, but I always think it's a poor mans 'I'm Still Standing' by Elton John. However, this is right up there with the best tracks on the album. It's still no 'IDFLD'. bored with this, if it wasn't for the Freemasons mix it wouldn't stand a chanceWhat about the video?!!! That is keeping up my interest in the song - that's the beauty of excellent videos, they can really enhance a song. That said, I think 'Beautiful Liar' is an excellent song anyways. Freemasons mix is an added bonus. Completely gone off with Eurovision tracks, its ok-ish, good looking girls though Russia has a knack of producing some top pop. They gave us 'All The Things She Said' from t.A.T.u which was excellent, and now this. I actually think this song was too good for Eurovision which is probably why it never won. I must admit, the whole Eurovision thing is wearing thin on me too. excellent comeback track, I like itI also think this is a great comeback - the guitar synths really make this song sound much more chunky compared to previous hits like 'This Love' and 'She Will Be Loved' which I describe rock-lite pop music. I hate this with passion, its awful and getting overplayedI wouldn't say I hate this. I like this song a bit, but I still think it's not as strong as 'SOS' was last year. Some days I like this song more than others which is why it's only no. 9 for me. It's got no chance of going to no. 1 in my chart anyways, but it probably will climb a bit higher. not really a fan of this track her previous single was better'Catch You' was brilliant, with a really fresh sharp production. Whilst this sounds more like a song Sophie would've done in 2002, I still think this is as good as her previous hit. I reckon if Sophie had released this in 2002, it would've gone top 5.

Manic Street preachers just missed the top 5, Snow Patrol, Maroon 5 and Linkin Park and a few others were in the way, it peaked at #6, better tracks go the better of them.

The Video to Beyonce & Shakira is pretty good, but I usually judge the song and the lyrics

I don't think 'Signal Fire' is that strong as song to be honest - I think the video is funny with the kids acting out Spiderman, but alone I think the song is a bit...bland?!!! As for Linkin Park, they're not exactly a group I could tolerate five years ago. In fact, I hated them completely and catagorised them as Limp Bizkit clones. Have to admit 'What I've Done' is much more tame to listen to, which is probably why I like it. It's still a song I'd rank higher than Manics. Still, that's just my opinion. That's the beauty of personal charts - everyone is different.
