Actually, this is a strong top 10 - but then I also have a more commercial taste in music.
1(2) Maroon 5-Makes me wonder
This peaked at no. 5 for me last week but remains top 10 for me this week - albeit slipping down to no. 8 now.
2(1) Ross Copperman-And she wrote
One of the weaker tracks here, but not the worst(ish!!!) - this got to no. 30 in my chart a couple of weeks back.
3(5) Michael Buble-Everything
A steady climber for me climbing 22-21-18 in the last three weeks. Whether it goes any higher for me is left to be seen.
4(-) Mutya Buena-Real girl
My new no. 1 this week!!!
5(4) Booty Luv-Shine
My no. 2 this week - a non mover.
6(3) Mika-Love today
URGH!!! After the excellent 'Grace Kelly', Mika gives us
this. Despite peaking at no. 31 in my chart, this isn't that great a song - it has moments that I like, but others that just don't appeal to me whatsoever.
7(-) Calvin Harris-The girls
Yet to enter my chart, but it's new at no. 8 in my pre-release chart - probably will go top 10 for me when it enters, but it won't outperform 'Acceptable In The 80s' - a no. 2 hit in my chart.
8(re-e) Scissor Sisters-Kiss you off
New at no. 5 for me this week.
9(6) Gym Class Heroes-Cupid's Chokehold
I'd rank in the middle of everything else - it's not brilliant, but it's not crap!!! lol This song reached no. 22 last week, but plummets to no. 37 in my new chart. Yes, I'm getting bored of the song now.
10(7) Travis-Closer
A fine song from Travis - I'm surprised this "only" got to no. 10 in the UK. Well, considering that 'Re-Offender' managed to reach no. 7 despite that song, imo, being far weaker. Quite typically, my fave Travis song remains 'Sing' which is their biggest hit in the UK.
