Anyone bought this? Nice glossy booklet and a good collection of some of her finest moments. Not the standard "Hits" collection, although the classsics are all there. A bit like Tori's "Tales Of A Librarian", it's Joni's choice of tracks that best reflect her musical career as she sees it. Shame that it missed the top 40 Would be nice to see some consistent Xmas sales though. Opinions?

It looks like an excellent album... I haven't bought it as I already own her earlier compilations ("Hits" & "Misses") and a few of her studio albums too.
"In France They Kiss On Mainstreet" is a particularly inspired choice for the compilation though.
I'm surprised that "Woodstock" doesn't feature.

I really need to stok up on some Joni studio albums, actually.

I really need to stok up on some Joni studio albums, actually. You should get a few, most are in the sales for about £5 nowadays. I've got "Blue", "Hejira", "The Hissing Of Summer Lawns", "Night Ride Home", "Dog Eat Dog", "Chalk Mark In A Rainstorm" & one other that I can't remember the title of!

:-[114 That's really appalling. What's wrong with the record buying public these days? Why do they not all the same taste as me anymore?!!!

#102. Not plummeting then...would have been nice to see her hang around for a while. The likes of Norah, Katie and Joss are selling by the BUCKETLOAD this year, but people aren't interested in the original I hope there's some renewed interest over the Xmas period...although, I doubt it.

And if it's dreadful, I'll take comfort in the fact that Lucie Silvas is top 20

I'm totally in love with Joni, but I don't think I'll be buying this.
I have some of these on my Hits cd. I also own Blue and i wanna catch up on her studio albums, maybe picking up Misses on the way. But first I got hits, then Blue (which I lobsterlove).
She really is awesome. I wish Dreamland were doing better, but I'm sure it's doing better than they expected.

I saw TV ads I'd hoped for 100K...I guess I was being FAR too optimistic?
