I've just bought the new album 'Uh Huh Her' (as you can probably see from another thread), and it's oh so slowly growing on me. But which other albums of hers does anyone recommend I get? I've heard 'Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea' is pretty good, but I just want your opinion.

Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea is by far the most commercial one she's released - especially songs like 'Good Fortune', 'This is Love' etc... Her other albums are all arty and take a few listens to if you are not used to her work. Brief summary: Dry - shouty, indie rock (although I don't actually own it) Rid of Me - very intense, disturbing, raw rock with themes of sex and violence To Bring You MY love - atmospheric but still fairly rocky. Lots of bizarre religious themes - reckoned to be her best by many including me. Is this Desire - not very rocky, more ballady but still some weird tunes. Very very depressing.... if you liked Tori's 'Boys for Pele' you might like this.

For ages, 'We Float' was my favourite of PJ's songs... such a great torch song.

I got Dry, To Bring You My Love and Stories!!!
My favourite is To Bring You My Love, it's an amazing album. Tracks like Down by the Water or Send his love to me are just mermerizing!!!!
Stories has some great tracks like Good Fortune and Place Called Home and it has the duet with Thom Yorke, This mee we're in, which is her best song ever. I like these 3 songs a lot but the rest of the album is just OK...
Dry is rockier and has some good tracks like Water or The Dress.

Dry is the only one I haven't got. How does it compare to her other material?
