How far was she the British Salt 'n' Pepa? Was Let Me Take You There a second cousin (twice removed) of Happy Talk by Captain Sensible? Can a pop rapper REALLY be called Alison in real life? Was Doin' The Do the most important feminist song since We Are Family by Sister Sledge? VITAL questions folks!

You're correct Borneoman, she did write "Pure & Simple" for Hear'say, and I wouldn't be surprised if she made more money from that than her entire solo career! Her own career went rapidly downhill after she dropped the microphone on stage and the vocals continued, hence proving she wasn't singing live! She was then booed offstage!
