I would vote for RHYTHM NATION 1814: its her best work!
I never heard all of Dream Street and Janet Jackson, anybody wanna share it with me?

Without a doubt "Control". For me it's all killer with no filler!

Control though if you exclude the interludes, I actually prefer Janet which wasn't included in the poll.

For me it has to be Control, then RN, then Janet

I think RN is the best actually. I changed my mind. I've never liked "Janet" much.

I like Velvet Rope, but it has a couple of duds - like Special. Terribly cheesy!

I cant beleive I forgot janet. I guess its because it holds no special place in my heart, or my cd collection to say the least. janet. is by far Janet's worst album.

This was a hard one - I voted for "20 Y.O." although really, it's a tie between "20 Y.O.", "Control", and "Rhythm Nation 1814". After that would be "Damita Jo", then "All For You", then "Janet Jackson", then "Velvet Rope", then "janet.", then "Dream Street".

I voted for her debut because I knew noone else would (sympathy vote ?)and also it's the one I listen to most, even though Control is her best one really. Janet Jackson,Control,Rhythm Nation 1814,Dream Street are all must haves.I wouldn't skip past any tracks on any of those albums, they're all THAT good. Velvet Rope, and 'Janet' and All For You albums only have about three songs each that i like ,so I gave up on her after that. I've never heard any songs from Damita Jo or 20YO and don't think I should bother by the sounds of things. That's the song I like the best from Velvet Rope !

I love "Special" on Velvet Rope too... well minus the talky bits.
I voted Rhythm Nation as it was so varied and each song fantastic. Control was great at the time but for me it's overplayed.
Not heard her first 2 yet, but that will change soon! They just might tip the scales!

I voted for Dream Street.
I like DS, her debut and Control. After that her albums all went down hill very quickly.

Rhythm Nation (Janet at her best) Velvet Rope (her artistic triumph) Control (classic, just classic) janet. (overrated but still good) Damita Jo (underrated) Janet Jackson (unfairly maligned) 20 Y.O. (too Dupri to be higher, I hate his production) All For You (garbage though there's a few good songs) Dream Street (I hate this album outside of the title track, Don't Stand Another Chance and Fast Girls)
