I hardly know any on the UK chart - I suppose Ultravox's Vienna is the standout.
The US chart is much more me... my FAVES...
I WANNA BE YOUR LOVER - Prince (funky goodness!) DESIRE - Andy Gibb (not his best but I love all 3 of his albums) ROCK WITH YOU - Michael Jackson LOST IN LOVE - Air Supply (they did write good songs)

I was a wee lad of five at the time, so not a lot of these ring a bell. From the lists I do like the following: XTC - Sgt Rock Is Going To Help Me (Senses Working Overtime by XTC is one of my fave songs!) Fleetwood Mac - Sara Diana Ross - It's My Turn Donna Summer - On The Radio Judie Tzuke - Stay With Me Till Dawn There are also a bunch of ughs on that list that I'm sure is not of interest (e.g. Bad Manners) Funnily, as much as my Queen hatred runs deep, both Flash and Crazy Little Thing Called Love on those charts, are ones that I like!

That was because originally the chart from 1980 was posted erroneously

The songs I like from the Uk chart : 16 (25) It’s My Turn – Diana Ross ^^^ That's all. .I wouldn't be mad about it either ,it's just ok.The rest of the songs ,I don't know ,or don't like. Let's see if the U.S chart has more to offer.... Ahh yeah ,that's a bit more like it : 1 3 CELEBRATION-Kool and the Gang 2 1 THE TIDE IS HIGH - Blondie 4 8 9 TO 5- Dolly Parton 9 9 IT'S MY TURN-Diana Ross 72 59 WOMAN IN LOVE-Barbra Streisand 95 82 I'M COMING OUT-Diana Ross

Oh right, so I need to recast my vote…
No problem…
Top 5
Andy Gibb – Time Is Time (now THIS is the Andy I know and love!) Celebration – Kool & The Gang Dolly Parton – 9 to 5 Air Supply – Every Woman In The World Suddenly – Olivia and Cliff
The Police hits from 1981 weren't too bad either.
