So, who wishes to discuss Haven's official favourite band?

What would you like to talk about?

I have no idea what you're talking about, so here's a bunny with a pancake on its head.

Thom Yorke was apparently in a club only a few minutes' walk from my college the other night

Do you by any chance live in Oxford, Frag?

Anyway, I have The Bends and Ok Computer, and I'm currently thinking about which of their albums to acquire next. I'm considering Kid A..

i'm really pleased you've finally discovered them, sub ;D i'd go for "kid a", too. it's the logical next step... you might be underwhlemed at first; it's a little difficult to grasp but it really grows... the title track is a thing of beauty...

Get them in the order they were released Sub.
You'll see the progression then. Be warned that Kid A takes a good few listens though and is VERY different to what came before it. It's my favourite Radiohead album now though.

I like The Bends, OK Computer and Pablo Honey most (in that order). If you like the guitar/band feel then Pablo should be your next, if you want to hear them beggining their experimentation then continue on (Kid A). Think I told this story here already but in case not - was at The Beta Band's final tour in Oxford and stood next to Thom. He was dancing away more than anyone and with a few friends. My Girlfriend was there too and she has always had a crush on him. I wasn't worried as he's only like 5' and I could take him

I missed out Pablo Honey, so should I get that one next? I wouldn't to be honest - it's my least favourite album. However, it's also the one I've given the least amount of time also. It's worth a listen though and I guess you could probably pick it up for about a fiver - cheaper possibly on e-bay.
