Saw them on Sunday evening at Rock City.
What a gig! I'd heard a few of their songs before, but was never a massive fan, but their set blew me away.
Got in & albums ordered from amazon!

Their one of me Dads favourite bands, and I had the parents up for the weekend.
One of me best mates works as a sound engineer at Rock City, so he gets me in for most gigs free.

Ok - you ALL need to go get 'Yankee Hotel Foxtrot' yesterday if you don't have it. It's a very, very, very good album.
It's SLIGHTLY Americana/folk, but mostly just very good tunes/harmony. Easily one of the top 10 albums of the last 5 years (no joke).
I have all their albums and after gettting this one you can either delve into their extensive back catalog or get their recent one, 'A Ghost Is Born' for a more produced/polished sound. Their older stuff gets more Americana/Folky, but again they are not classed as that - just trying to give you an idea.
no really - got get Yankee Hotel Foxtrot - you won't regret it!

Good job Sofie's not around else she'd be wetting herself at this thread! I only know "Outta Site Outta Mind" and it's a great song, would like to hear more of their stuff!
