Apparently there is no reason for the break up but i'm really sad considering they've released 2 of the best songs of the year in "Brother" & " Memorise The City"... They had only been together for 5 years and for me they had quite a promising future... :/

Blimey I have the album and it's quite good and like you say, those 2 singles are ace, real shame

shame - was hoping they would put out a full album of really good music rather than just a few good singles... they certainly have (er... had) the ability

Defunct Canadian indie-pop quintet The Organ, who called it a day in December 2006, will release a farewell EP before the end of the year.
October 13th is the date Mint/604 will deliver the six-song 'Thieves' EP, that features the final tracks the band were working on before they split-up.
During 2007, The Organ then regrouped in the studio and recorded the songs found on the EP. These were supposed to make-up part of the band's next album, the follow-on from 2004's 'Grab That Gun'.
Thieves Tracklisting:
1. Even In The Night 2. Oh What A Feeling 3. Let The Bells Ring 4. Fire In The Ocean 5. Can You Tell me One Thing 6. Don't Be Angry

If only these songs would be half as good as "Memorise The City" & "Brother" we would have on of the better albums of the year... I still adore those 2 tracks! I MISS THE ORGAN but I'm happy for this... At least it's something to look forward to!!!
