I think they were mentioned in NME. That'll be you avoiding them like the Plague then.

Sounds are Swedish, female fronted! I dunno if they are mentioned in NME but they're certainly not like a normal NME band...

It's really not true... I wouldn't say that Patrick's album was great if it wasn't... it's not bad you are right... but he does have the disctinction of being the worst gig I've been to this year... haha (he opened for Arcade Fire). The Sounds... not heard that yet actually... is it just another NME indie band? It's a fun album, they're Swedish and have a female lead singer. I'm not 100% convinced you'd like it but I don't think you'd hate it, it does feature a Rex The Dog remix too so there's hope!

let me be clear... NME mentions most of the band i like...
when i'm referring to the 'NME Indie Band'.. it's things like the libertines, arctic monkeys, klaxons, kaiser chiefs kinda sh*te...
as for the sounds... being swedish is a BIG plus in my book... always had a soft spot for swedish music (you can blame my father for raising me on abba...). Can name tons of good swedish bands (I'm From Barcelona and the Nomads being my 2 favs)

but on further thought i do kinda agree... I've never been a fan of the 'popular' indie that many here like (klaxons and Arctic Monkeys are complete toss to me) but i've been more into electro stuff lately mostly due to lack of good indie to be found. I'll always like indie more but there is a bit of a lull to me too... i vgot a bog problem to find great electro out there... hot chip , junior boys are some of my fav acts but do you consider them as electro?anyway. cause i think ... electro duying or what?but dont get me wrong about these words. maybe you should start a new thread about electro with the same subject to talk about it.i could be very interesting n in every case will open a few doors to some of us (definitely me cause i trust you). btw , i think its my mistake to talk about electro in that thread
