I quite like the single and loved portions for foxes, amazed it is top 20 in the mids, last album didn't make the top 200 did it?

Don't know. But I think a combination of word of mouth, good reviews and Jenny's excellent solo album contribute.
The only track I'm not fussed on is The Angels Hung Around, it sounds like it belongs on Rabbit Fur Coat, or perhaps a RFC cast off...

I was distinctly underwhelmed by the lead single, which has put me off buying the album for now..

from all music
In the midst of the release of Rilo Kiley's third album, 2004's More Adventurous, Lewis began working on her debut solo album, Rabbit Fur Coat. This enchanting set featured vocals by Kentucky-born singers Chandra and Leigh Watson — thus the moniker Jenny Lewis With the Watson Twins was born. Additional contributions by M. Ward, Ben Gibbard, Conor Oberst, and Jason Boesel are also included on Rabbit Fur Coat, which was released on Oberst's Team Love label in early 2006.

I was distinctly underwhelmed by the lead single, which has put me off buying the album for now.. Although I do like it I wouldn't put it in the albums top 5...

Great album, I'm treating it as more of a follow up to the Jenny Lewis & The Watson Twins album as it's more on a par with the standard of it.

It's an awesome album, hard to believe it's five years old this year. I recommend it to people who aren't familiar with it.
