Has anyone got this yet?
I absolutely loved 'Through the Windowpane' - was such a beautiful, multi layered album with great songs (including possibly the best closer ever 'Sao Paulo'.
Not that keen on 'Get over it' but will buy this later in the week.
Is it vastly different to TTW?

I have no idea what you're talking about, so here's a bunny with a pancake on its head.

Jade and I saw them live a few weeks ago, and their new stuff sounded a lot more rocky, particularly 'Get Over It'. However, the video version of 'Get Over It' was totally different and unrocky, yet without much of the beauty of the first album aswell - a pretty big disappointment. That's put me off buying the album just yet, might wait for the second single.

Through The Windowpane is one of my favourite albums of the decade, "Trains To Brazil" one of my favourite songs ever. Red was a disappointment on first listen, but I've had it on repeat almost non-stop since and love it now too (although not nearly as much as their first album). My favourite track is the epic "Kriss Kross": youtube.com/watch?v=8agQrCjXqzc. If you like it you'll like Red.

I've ordered it and should be coming soon. I must admit I'm surprised at it's low chart position (9) - especially after TTW was well received critically, Mercury nominated and lot of weeks on the top 75 and 'Get Over It' is their first top 20 hit. I would have thought it would have been top 3. Guess the feeling I'm getting is that it's not such a great album.

First album is timeless. "Red" is quite different but still excellent. It's still experimental and diverse, but more polished and upbeat than the debut.

I've done a review for this in the reviews forum.
